Running acidrip in Debian Linux

Debian Linux has a ripper called acidrip. This application can squeeze the whole DVD files into a single file without losing its quality. Firstly, install acidrip if not installed by default. Run in terminal as root:

#aptitude install acidrip

After installing the package, open it by pressing left Alt+F2, the run in terminal screen will pop out.
Then, type acid rip and run.

In order to function smoothly, all necessary DVD files should be intact. Otherwise, we have to compile DVD files first. To start, give clear path(Video_ts location) in the video source box and click on “Load” button. If it is fine, you will see a dialogue saying “DVD OK” at the end of the screen.

If you are done, give track title; choose file extension; change file size and number of files as your wish.  For your convenience, always save your output file in root(home)system.

Finally, click on "Start" button and start ripping.
